Information for Trojan Sword:
reek Sword of the Classical and Hellenistic Periods
7th - 3rd century BC
Steel Handle with natural bone set into the grip. Leather covered scabbard
This is another example of the classical style of Greek xiphos (sword) used throughout the Classical and Hellenistic periods by infantry. Contrary to Deepeeka’s erroneous titling of this product, the swords used during the Mycenaean age, when the Trojan War would have taken place, were made of bronze and not steel. The current sword, fashioned of steel, is an excellent replica of a sword from the pinnacle of Greek civilization.
