he kettle hat or chapel der fer was widely worn on the battlefields of Europe from the 12th to the 15th century, offering excellent visibility with some face and neck protection provided by the brim. This reconstruction features raised reinforcing ribs for increased stiffness. Crafted in 14 gauge steel with full leather suspension and chin strap.
